Days of the Week Worksheets
This printable set helps children learn the seven days of the week through three different actions: cutting and ordering, copying, and tracing. Each worksheet keeps the instructions short and gives learners a clear task they can complete independently or with light adult support.
The activities work well as a small learning sequence: begin with the hands-on ordering task, move on to tracing each word, then ask children to copy the names without tracing over the letters.

What children learn
Children become familiar with the spelling and order of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The three formats also practise sequencing, visual recognition, pencil control and independent handwriting.
Because every worksheet focuses on the same seven words, teachers and parents can repeat the vocabulary without repeating exactly the same task.

1. Free cut-and-paste worksheet
The seven days are printed in a mixed order on separate strips. Children cut along the dotted lines, put the words in the correct sequence and glue them into a notebook or onto another sheet.
- Builds understanding of weekly order
- Combines literacy with a simple fine-motor task
- Black-and-white design for economical printing
- Suitable for classroom centres or home learning
