French Administrative Documents Worksheet
Carte Vitale, carte grise, livret de famille, attestation de mutuelle: this matching worksheet helps French learners recognise the eleven administrative documents they are most likely to meet in everyday life in France.
Students look at each picture and write the letter of the correct definition. A very practical activity for FLE classes, newcomers to France and anyone preparing for life in the French administration.
What students practise
Students read eleven short definitions built like real administrative explanations, with relative clauses and useful verbs: pour payer dans les commerces, à présenter en cas de contrôle du véhicule, les détails sur la famille y sont inscrits… Then they match each definition to the right picture by writing one letter.
It is the perfect companion to your practical-life units: health, transport, housing, town and paperwork. Once completed, the worksheet becomes a speaking prompt: What is it? What is it used for?
Observe the eleven pictures: cards, booklets, passports and official papers.
Read definitions A to K and underline the clues: where is it used, what does it do?
Write the correct letter in the space next to each picture.
Ask and answer in pairs: Qu’est-ce que c’est ? À quoi ça sert ?
