From je dis to ils disent: students fill in the conjugation table of DIRE in the present tense, then complete eighteen lively sentences, from tu dis n’importe quoi to ça te dit qu’on parte à la montagne ?
And here is the twist: once an answer is checked, students rewrite the whole sentence on the lines below. Conjugation, vocabulary and handwriting in one worksheet, in two typefaces: print and cursive. A free one-page version is available for everyone.
✨ What students practise
First, the table: six persons with little visual icons, from je to ils/elles, and the traps of the verb: vous dites, not vous disez, and ils disent. Then the sentences, full of real-life French: dire la vérité, dire des bêtises, dire n’importe quoi, ça ne me dit rien…
And after each answer, a rewriting line: students copy the complete sentence, which trains handwriting and fixes the spelling of the verb in context. A few sentences even stretch beyond the present: the imperative dis-moi and the passé composé le médecin lui a dit.
